Dutch Doobadoo Guest Designer {Part 3}

Hi There!

Today I want to share a layout I created for Dutch Doobadoo,
where I guest design for the month of January.
(For my first project you can follow this link -----> HERE
And for my previous one -------> HERE)

For my project today I played mainly with their modelling paste and their masks.
Dutch Doobadoo has a beautiful range of Art Masks and honestly I wouldn't
mind having ALL of them in my studio :-)

That photo of my kids is so much fun and I couldn't help scrapping it :-)

I began masking the background with  Mask A5 Small Leaves
and then I added  Mask A5 Flower Swirl to three spots.

The flourish stamp is a clear stamp from NOOR! Design.

Some of the small leaves I outlined with a fine black pen...

Dutch Doobadoo Guest Designer {Part 2}

Hi There!

Today I want to share another project I created for Dutch Doobadoo.
(For my first project you can follow this link -----> HERE)
This time I had fun with the leftover frame from
Dutch Doobadoo Dutch MDF Art Door

1. I placed the MDF frame on a cutting mat and with the help
of a craft knife I carefully cut the upper part of the frame.

2. Once I cut the double frame I used sanding paper
to sand the edges and the front part of the frame.
In this way it is easier to paint the surface!
3.  After that I applied a layer of gesso and then I
used a few different colors liquid paint.
4. I used heat tool to dry it faster and used two floral
stamps to decorate. To add some dimension use
pearl drops - I used two colors. Now it's ready to
decorate with embellishments and a photo (photos).
Stamps used: Joy Crafts

Other Dutch Doobadoo Products I used:

This is the final result!
Of course the possibilities are endless here - what I made is a fragment and an idea
for a quick and simple way to use a leftover of MDF frame!
Cutting Stencils used: Joy Crafts

And I want to share one more project I created for Dutch Doobadoo...
This is a card I made by using the Dutch Card Art Window and

When I began making the card I focused on the stencil itself
and what I wanted to show is how to use it in a different way.
So this is what I came up with......making shutters (sort of!)

I hope you enjoyed my post today!
Have a great day!

Hello & Guest-designing for Dutch Doobadoo

Helloooooo Everyone!!!!

Happy New Year!

It's been a while since my last post ... and it was high time to have some update here.
And in case you wonder where I was all the time .....
Not a particular reason for being away -
I quit almost all of the design teams I was!
Taking a Break!
I got obsessed with cooking (more than ever!)
I got obsessed with the gym (who thought I would!)
I got obsessed with our house and...
figuring out where to store all my crafty stuff (mamma mia!)
....anyway, I didn't solve the problem so I moved half stuff to a StorageBox...
unfortunately that didn't solve my problem, either ....
and I had to find another solution...
Voila... my own crafty Studio
my own space & place where I'll be giving
workshops....and crops...and so much more!

I am also here today to share with you my first project for a Dutch company
which was so kind to invite me to guest-design for them and of course to
try out some of their products. Maybe some of you heard about Dutch Doobadoo and
some of you maybe didn't - for the ones who didn't come across with their products please
check their site and see for yourself how many awesome products they offer!

Products I used:

Dutch MDF Art Houses are the ones I used for my project today!

After treating the MDF pieces with gesso and ink I used a wooden
tray in order to fasten them - I created a yard surrounded by houses.

Dutch Craft Art A5 Leaves were treated with a white liquid paint marker!

It's so easy to use and dries quickly.

I decorated the houses by using different embellishments....

I used also the oak nuts from the Dutch Paper Art A5 Autumn.
They were coloured in with Copic Markers.

Check Dutch Doobadoo Blog for more inspirational projects
from their talented Design team!
